Discounted Multi-Year Certificate in Subscription

This certificate is available as a multi-year subscription at a discounted rate through the issuing authority. Order in advance for the specified total amount and receive a new certificate free of charge for the duration of the term.

  • Wildcard
    Unlimited number of subdomains

    The wildcard extension allows for the protection of an unlimited number of third-level domains (commonly referred to as 'subdomains') below the ordered second-level domain. For example, mail.mywebsite.com, shop.mywebsite.com, and intern.mywebsite.com can all be protected by the same certificate. For the site owner, wildcard certificates represent a cost-effective alternative to purchasing multiple individual certificates.

  • SSL certificate with organization validation (OV)

    By requiring additional documents such as a commercial register extract, Thawte ensures that the protected domain truly belongs to the publisher. The information is displayed to the user when clicking the site seal or the https identifier in the browser. Compared to simple domain validation, this type of validation thus provides a trust-building added value.

  • 256-bit SSL encryption

    The data exchanged between a client (e.g., web browser) and a server is encrypted before sending and decrypted after receiving. The strength of encryption is measured based on the bit strength. The Thawte SSL certificate here provides the best possible encryption of data transmissions in the form of 256bit.

  • Thawte Site Seal

    Site SealThe site seal shows visitors with a dynamic time display that the website is transmitted SSL-encrypted. When clicking on the seal, Thawte provides further information on encryption and all details about the domain owner (corporate validation) in a pop-up window. This strengthens the user's sense of security and reduces the number of purchase and transaction cancellations.
